1. Place citations in alphabetical order

2. When you have multiple sources by the same author, arrange them by the year of publication

3. When you have a source by one author who is also in another source with multi-author entries, begin with the one author source (in spite of year).

4. Sources with same first author and different subsequent authors should be arranged alphabetically by second surname.

5. Citations with the same author and same date should be alphabetized by title with small case letters placed immediately after the year:

               Author, A. A. (2009a).
               Author, A. A. (2009b).
